Before using your menstrual cup for the first time:
- Wash your menstrual cup with warm water and mild soap.
- Practice folding your menstrual cup. To insert, squeeze the sides together, insert, push up, then back and tuck the front rim behind the pelvic bone.
- To remove, simply hook the string top and gently push it out. With the string, there's no need to insert your finger to locate the disc. Empty the fluid into the Discreet, wash the cup, and reinsert.
- Before your first use and after your last use during each menstrual cycle, please boil your cup in bubbling water for 3-5 minutes. Alternatively, you can use a steriliser if available.

Comfortable, easy, green alternative to tampons
I’ve tried multiple cups and discs now, from disposable ones I picked up at the local drugstore to higher-end brands. I’ve had issues with the suction forming correctly, the products sitting over all of my cervix, or it shifting (and leaking) at the most in opportune times. Then, trying to take them out was often a pain, and I’m sure I’ve scratched my cervix and everywhere else trying to remove them.
This disc popped in correctly right away and in the first try, it fits well, and is so comfortable I can’t tell I’m wearing it! The exception is the rubber “string” for removal—when I shift a certain way, I can kind of feel that. I’ve been wearing it for 4 hours and have had no leakage as of yet. I will probably cut the removal stem (the “string” if you will) to make it shorter, but I’m pretty happy even with it long.
My only issue is the same issue I’ve had with all cups and discs: I have not figured out how to remove it and dump it without spilling it everywhere. Still that’s better than tampons and leaks. I’ll still wear pads or liners with this until I know it won’t leak, but so far, so good! -

Surprisingly comfortable!
I have tried a lot of menstrual cups and discs, and they have all been too bulky and hard for me. Sure they were made of silicone, but they still too up a lot of space. This one is different! This is the first one I’ve tried that was super thin and flexible! The ring part is silicone, but the inside part that catches the blood actually feels just as thin as a condom! It is so much easier to wear than any other ones I’ve tried!
